Scolymia swallowing a hermit crab

Hi all. I have just purchased a candy apple scolymia a couple weeks ago and everythign has been going well. Yesteday, I was spot feeding it with some mysis shrimp, when one of my smaller hermit crabs(about the size of a peanut butter m&m) decided to climb the coral and get stuck in its tentacles. There is a bulbous area in the center of the coral, where the shell remains. How do I get the shell from under the coral's skin? Thank you!

LOL i had a large brain coral eat a rather large cleaner shrimp. The shrimp was constantly stealing food from the coral and one night the tail got caught and the entire shrimp went in. The rest of the CUC started eating the portion of the shrimp that was sticking out. It was a cool case of a bully shrimp becoming the main course!

The Scoly will eat the snail or hermit, in some cases, and spit the shell out in a few days. It should be ok :)

So what was the verdict?
