Anemone Porcelain Crab leaving anemone

Can't find any topic with this question so here goes, simple question... I have had a hatian nem for a couple months and a relatively new anemone crab I got was happily living in it for a few weeks until a few days ago. I know its probably normal for it to sometimes venture out of the nem once in a while I think, but its been a long time and the crab has wandered off to some random rock in the corner and chills there while the nem continues. I figured he might have lost his way or something but just to make sure I went in and put him by the nem, and after he scurried into it for a moment, he moved out again and left to sit on the same rock.

Any particular reason he might not be staying with the nem anymore? did they get a divorce or something? :P I don't know but I think it might be the nem because its always very stubborn and is not a very willing nem to host, I have tried with clowns but no luck.

Any thoughts on this guys?

Anemone and porcelain crabs (petrolisthes and neopetrolisthes) are typically all sold as one thing... a filter feeding crab that hosts anemones. In actuality, only the neopetrolisthes are anemone crabs, and there are only 3 species of them, while there are dozens of species of petrolisthes.
I personally love the petrolisthe crabs. They constantly filter your water column, they're reef-safe in the extreme, and they come in almost every color and pattern.
Petrolisthes will find an advantageous spot in your flow pattern, and settle there.

If you really want a hosting crab, make sure to get a neopetrolisthes - the most common ones are white with rusty colored spots along the tops of their shells and claws. Even then, if your anemone doesn't tolerate the crab, you'll be in the same position...
