Yeah! But whats the life time??The price is 45 R$, and i don't like lose money...

DoubleM 10 12/13/2010 10:23 AM

if you dont like to lose money i would stay with the cheapest(maybe emerald crabs) if you wand a crab that is not a hermit.

i have owned many different ones. i have had some of the same hermits and emeralds for over a year now. i would think that the crab pictured would live a while if taken care of

Arthur,

Platypodiella spectabilis http://www.reeflex.net/tiere/2498_Pl...pectabilis.htm is a Xanthid crab and omnivore. It is said it feeds sometimes on anemones.

There is nothing more known about this crab – although with the scientific name You can search at least. ;) How big is it (only carapace width)? It surely may live some three to four years but this really is just a wild guess because most crabs at least can get that old.

Thanks BEASTIEPENDENT!!!
