Congrats Sunny! Well deserved.

twon8 07/04/2006 12:29 PM

Great tank, see what happens when you change to 20k's? TOM.
but seriously, from your webpage I see you have the premium aquatics lighthouse controller, yet you made no mention of it in the tank write up. Do you like it?

Shroom King 07/04/2006 12:47 PM

Beautiful! Best Fireworks I've seen all day....

jon181 07/04/2006 12:53 PM

Very pretty tank. Are those GSP in the far right corner?

Ralistin 07/04/2006 01:08 PM

Good job Sunny!

PatrickJ 07/04/2006 01:28 PM

What an inspiring TOTM. The article and the tank makes my future 120 that more exciting!

kevensquint 07/04/2006 02:28 PM

Question for Sunnyx, you said you swithched from 10k to 20k. Were the 10k's also 400 watts? how high are the bulbs off the water and if you did use 400 watt 10k's, did you have any corals lighten up under them?

tom obrecht 07/04/2006 02:31 PM

Congrats! Nice set up!

Mr.Furious 07/04/2006 05:33 PM

So how old is your orange cap? What are the approximate dimensions of that bad boy.

CeeGee 07/04/2006 06:50 PM

Great job.

What a nice tank! Congrats!

carman9941 07/04/2006 07:18 PM

SaraB 07/04/2006 07:28 PM

Congrat's SunnyX! Your tank is truly an inspiration to me and I'm glad to see you honored as TOTM!

NALCOMIS 07/04/2006 11:33 PM

You replace your sand bed every 6 months?

tcb7019 07/05/2006 01:52 AM

Beautiful reef .. congrats!

Tom

NexDog 07/05/2006 03:38 AM

Congrats Sunny. I had a feeling it was coming. :)

By the way, you didn't mention how you cooled your system. Your site displays live tank stats and it's always nice and cool. :)

NexDog 07/05/2006 03:40 AM

Weird as Skipper's post has July 2nd as the date but I've been checking for the new TOTM every 8 hours or more in the last 2 days.

Sunny, I see you're another Lugol's user. I never really contemplated dosing Iodine - do you really consider it necessary?

And the 20k XMs look super sweet. Do you think you'll get growth out of them? 10k XMs have a lot of par which might have contributed to your groth. But wow, they look great. I run 400w 14k's but when they go off and the tank is just lit by 4x96w PC, it sure does look pretty!
