Coral Identification & possible issue with it

Hello,

LFS stated it's a favia. I want to know 100% what this coral is. And does it look like there's a issue with it. It was orange & purple when I got it.

Thank you.

Looks like a favia/favities of some sort but that picture is really blurry.

Thanks knighthawk. Thought the right photo was good enough.

Has the "noodleball" retracted? Is that normal?

tigga 10/27/2017 08:52 AM

The noodleballs have come back.

So as Knighthawk assumes, it's a favia?

I only have one favia, so I'm certainly no expert, but mine doesn't look anything like that. I do have chalices that look like that though.

Have been looking thru photos to compare, and I too think this compares to chalices
