Anyone have experience with this angel?

I told an LFS I was looking for a pygmy cherub, they said they couldn't get one but they did get one of these. I like the look of it. But I don't know how well it would do in a 46, or how likely it would be to go after my one frag of zoas (or 1 mushroom, or 1 hammer).

I have plenty of caves to hide in and some algae to graze on. Only other tank mates would be an ocell clown, and a lawnmower.

No personal experience from me.

It's possible that it would go after the zoas. The mushrooms and hammer should be safe.

I don't like the tank size for this fish though. LA has a 70 gallon for a minimum. Somewhere in the 65-90 range sounds about right, comparing it to its relatives that I know well.

The cherub that you want would be a better fit, since they're smaller.

I think it will be too big. See if they can get a flameback in for you since they cant get a cherub. Or, order online.

They had a flameback but it's twice the price. They want $65 for it. Everywhere I looked online had tank size for this yellow angel anywhere between 30 and 70. That's why I came here.

I got a cherub from another LFS that died inside of 4 days. I still can't figure out why, which makes me reluctant to go to that store again. Which is why I tried this newer store.
