FS: Avast Ozone Reactor with 2nd media reactor and 500mg/hr ozone generator

2 Attachment(s)
Up for sale is a complete ozone setup. It includes a barely used Avast 6” x 18” Ozone reactor filled with Bio Bale that includes a pressure gauge and a mezzei injector for the ozone. The setup also includes a 2nd reactor for the carbon made by Sea Side Aquatics which has a 4” x 20” chamber. Lastly is a 500 Mg/Hr Ozone Generator. This setup is good for a system up to several hundred gallons. No air dryer or air pump included. I do not use air dryers with ozone myself.

I am selling the complete setup for $400. Local Pickup Simi Valley. PM me if you are interested.

Hey Scott,

I'll give you 4 pieces of red cap and 2 baggies of Chaeto for the whole kit, if you deliver and throw in a free triple headed Milk shake machine!

Hey guys, bump for Scott and for Ozone.

If you have 250g+ and you are not running ozone, this is a great setup for you. If you are scared of ozone, then reach out to me to talk about it and the grab this setup from Scott.

I have been running Ozone for over 30 years now. I run it 24/7 and while it is true that the hair on my head fell out, there is no proof that's from extended ozone use :)

Im interested in an ozone setup. The main thing is the possible leak. ive never been a good equipment install guy. In fact im terrible. So im afraid of dealing with leaks down the line.. also i have no room near the tank

Can this be installed outdoor and run a line into the tank?

And lastly.. this might be asking much. Any chance of paying for install service on this?

It can be installed outside. Install is pretty straightforward assuming you have a pump to feed it from or a manifold. The idea of using a reactor is that it eliminates the smell through and the 2nd reactor filled with carbon strips the water of any remaining ozone so there really isn’t a need to install the reactor outside. The issue with paying me to install it is that I am in Simi Valley and you’re in LA. That’s a bunch of drive time that I would want to factor in to the install price. It would be far easier for me to explain what you need to to when setting it up. It’s really simple. Water into the ozone reactor, water out into the second reactor and water out of the 2nd reactor into your sump. Ozone generator connects to the venturi nozzle on the injector and an air pump connects to the other side of the ozone generator. You need to be able to control the flow going into the reactor. A couple hundred gallons per hour max into.

The reactor has been sold.
