High hat Drum fish

Is a Hi-hat Drum fish reef safe? I picked one up at the FMAS auction last night and they told me it was.

Sounds like they're reef safe, but do feed on inverts...so some small shrimp and whatnot might get eaten in your tank...

It is probably like 1" - 1.5" in length. I do have a peppermint shrimp swimming around. Should I be concerned about it? How bout if I just keep it well fed.
