Maxi-Jets 1200 install for feed pump

I want to use a Maxi-Jets 1200 as a feed pump for my CA Reactor. Anybody have any pics or can describe how to retrofit it so The 1/4 air line fits into it??? Also will it burn up by rescricting the flow so much???

Thanks!!!!

I always thought the MJ1200 was too much flow, according to my GEO manual. I have however used MJ's for CA feed pumps in the past with good success. Currently running a mini-jet 404 I believe. An alternate would be an Aqua Lifter dosing pump. The GPH was recommended for GEO Cal Reactor.

I already bought an MJ1200 since that was what was recommended to me from the guys at precision marime.

I cut a .5" piece of the tubing and then sliced it lengthwise then wrapped it around the feed tube as a shim. I used pretty thick tubing so I just had to use one piece but if your tubing is thin you may need a couple.
