JBsmurf85 04/30/2012 01:12 PM

very good looking stuff. Im starting to think that less is more but I love zoanthids so much I cant help but cram as many as I can in a tank.

niteowl03 04/30/2012 01:31 PM

These pics are great, are you using a macro lens? If so which one I am having trouble deciding on which one.

ZoaRific 04/30/2012 08:54 PM

How are you able to take such a clear shot?

Sar 04/30/2012 10:04 PM

Utter chaos maybe? Just ma guess...great looking zoas for sure! :)

engineeronh2o 05/03/2012 04:49 PM

Yes, they are Utter Chaos.

The camera is just a regular camera, no macro lens. I learned a couple tricks that seem to work better for me, like no flash.

very nice high end stuff my only concern would be them all on that one rock cramping each other and one prevailing over another and killing out on or several types

dnLEDman 05/05/2012 02:41 PM

very nice

St.Pete_Reefer 05/05/2012 04:17 PM

Beautiful tank!!

engineeronh2o 05/05/2012 07:16 PM

If they get that big to cramp each other, that would be a great problem to have.

buddythelion 05/06/2012 12:01 AM

God... those Agaves are beautiful. They're still on my wanted list but can't find them locally at a decent price. Jellies.

engineeronh2o 05/06/2012 05:34 AM

Well they may be one of the few zoas/palys that seems to go up in price. Initially they cost around $20. Now I see vendors consistently sell them for $50 per polyp. I will just continue to grow my 3 frags out and let the vendors keep theirs for themselves. Seems to be a bit pricey and overpriced.

buddythelion 05/06/2012 05:55 AM

What's your maintenance schedule and what are you using/feeding? I hear the agaves are a bit tricky to keep.

engineeronh2o 05/06/2012 06:34 AM

My only tip with agaves, lower light initially (shade) and slowly move them into direct low light. Just my experience. No feeding...
