Where can I order beneficial hitchhikers?

Started a new tank but this time I started with mostly dead and heavily cured, bacteria only live rock. Which sucks when it comes to microfauna.

There used to be places you could order stuff like this from. Bristle worms, miro brittle stars, etc. Is ispf the only place? They are insanely expensive.

I know there was another few places years ago but I can't remember their damn names.

In my local area, we have multiple Facebook pages that I am a member of. A lot of times, people post what they have and others want it instead of it getting tossed out. My LFS is great about letting people drop off their over population of things like brittle stars. That's where I have gotten all of my critters. Speghetti worms, brittle stars, feather dusters. The thing I have not gotten that I've been hoping to come across is limpets, but I haven't asked yet either. I recommend looking on FB and asking the LFS if they know where you can get some of what you are looking for.

IPSF is expensive, but awesome. Gerald has bred great and hearty strains of all kinds of benificial organisms. You might also contact Sally Jo at GARF—good stuff.

I've used IPSF multiple times, high quality stuff.

Thanks guys. ISPF is definitely expensive but I might go that route if my local facebook groups fail me. People on those groups act so strange when I asked them for bristle worms haha. Damn nubz don't even know the bennies!

What is ispf?

IPSF is Indo Pacific Sea Farm. http://www.ipsf.com
