Growth rate of Naso Tang?

I am only trying to purchase fish that will fit on my 190g (future tank) (getting ready to sell some fish)
The tank is a full hex and is only 4' across at all the points. I understand the swimming distance is not large enough for a Naso; which is why if I purchased a 3-4" Naso, how long before he outgrows the tank.

I couldn't tell you the growth rate, but I will say they aren't skitish tangs. (like a purple, powder blue, or achilles) Mine really rules the tank, but a quiet rule! He's bigger than everyone else, and just cruises. I will say that when I first put mine in my 180, I felt like he was too big for the tank. It's my favorite fish, I love Nasos, but I wish I had a bigger tank for him.

depends on how you feed, i had a naso that grow from 2 to 5 " in less than 6 months lol..

depending on the size you got him, putting him in a smaller tank will stunt his growth. friends purple tang is still 2"> and hes had him in his 30g for over 2-3 years...

In my 150g it grew from 4" to 8" in about a year before I got rid of the Naso Tang. Fed 2x a day with New life spectrum pellets and Nori sheets once a week

thank for the input. I'm going to X the Naso.
