Accidental silicone damage from razor blade

So I have been using a mag float for the last 6 months with a blade attached. A few times I got way too close to the seams from looking at it. Is this going to be a problem long term?

it's a 125 gallon aqueon, 2 years old.

I doubt it. THe silicone spread out on the glass is just to give a smooth finish to the corner. Better it hadn't happened, but probably ok.

That should be fine. I would image most tanks have some areas like that.

Mine does no issues

I agree. Shouldn't be a problem.

That bead is for cosmetic only and not structural, some new tanks don't even have that inside bead.

Good to know as I have the same thing happening.

Good to know this is not a structural thing as the replies have pointed out! Thank you.
