Thank you For humidity control I have 1.5 ton AC unit I run for the warmer months and a large dehumidifier I run for the winter months. There currently is a small exhaust fan that will be replaced with a commercial unit if humidity or heat becomes and issue. Quote:
Thanks Matt tryin to get some good colony pics for you |
Wow nice set up. Are the shallow grow out troughs hydroponic trays?
|
Wow this is insane!
|
Quote:
Yes they are PVC troughs intended as hydroponic reservoirs Quote:
Thank you |
Ready for some colony pics these have been in my system for awhile. Pics were taken under kessil AP700 whites at 50% blue at 40% with my iPhone so quality not the greatest. Colonies where placed on top of a piece of black acrylic

It's pink with purple body and red polyps https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...576d70aefe.jpg Better pic of a frag under t5 the led makes the pinks and purples wonky The third one is one of my Aussie pearlberry that's also been with me longer than I can remember. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...9a69b60e02.jpg pic from old sys under radiums The second to last is what I've been calling "Boo berry" https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...bfbaf1b219.jpg One of the few I did a color progression shot of. |
Beautiful build and colonies. Good luck!
Might have to meet one day on the Island...!! |
Oh my God !!! What else I can say. I am speechless.
The Boo Berry is the yellow/pink, correct ? I have never seen something like that. Do you think it will keep those 2 colors ? Amazing.... Best Daniel |
Wow, that looks great Jay, I need to stop over and check it out!

Quote:
When I got it was yellow and pink but 90% of the time the fresh wild ones never hold those colors it's green with purple tips. which is a nice change from the more common shortcake coloration you see in most Aussie pieces. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...db019703d9.jpg Quote:
Your welcome to come by anytime Joe Quote:

Jay, what additives/supplements are you using?
Aside from a calcium reactor, do you use any trace elements that you would recommend? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
