3/4" loc line - press fit inside 1" PVC?
 

From what I can gather from the loc-line sizing webpage, it looks like the o.d. of 3/4" locline hose is 1.098 - I have a small monitor, so not 100% sure

I am assuming the o.d. of the round part of the nozzle would be around the same o.d. as the hose and would be a candidate for an interference fit on the inside of a piece of 1" PVC. Has anyone tried this? If it is too big to fit inside 1" PVC there is probably enough wall thickness in the PVC to grind away a little. My worry would be that the o.d. of the nozzle would be too small to fit snug enough to get it to stay put without some sort of adhesive.

why not just use a pvc 1"->3/4" female pipe thread fitting and use the 3/4" locline threaded adapter?
