High magnesium level while dosing Component 1+2+3+
 

Hi,

I dose Component 1+2+3+ but my Mg is at 1500 and does not drop, can I let it out from component 3+ (self-mix) until Mg has dropped to an acceptable level?

If you have no consumption of Magnesium you can mix your own Component 1+2+3+ without Magnesium but in well running aquarium it should be Magnesium consumption.

If Magnesium consumption is low you can dose Component 1+2+3+ equally in small amount to keep Magnesium stable and add more Calcium or KH as you can read on our website:

Dosage: needs to be adjusted according to the consumption of macro-nutrients, and based on critical water parameters like Calcium, Magnesium and KH. If one or two parameters are still not balanced- we recommend to continue with administering equal doses of each component, and take advantage of one of our additives (Calcium, Magnesium, KH Buffer) to restore desired level(s).
