??? Puffer
 

Hi
I have just bought a puffer that was labeled as a short nose puffer. At the store i asked all about it to make sure i could sustain it in my tank. Upon getting it home and acclimating it to my tank i decided to google for any axtra information i didnt already have. Only problem is that google does not seem to know what a short nose puffer is and i am wondering if it was miss-labelled in the shop. I have attatched some pictures in the hope that someone can correctly identify it.

The description is very similar but the colouration is very different. This may be because mine is still juvenile and hasn’t developed its true colours yet.

I've heard of sharp nose puffer but not short nose. It's definitely an Arothron spp. I tend to agree with the other poster on the species. Whatever it is, it's very cool looking. Nice find.

Yes im starting to think it is what he said. Apparently they are pretty rare. Its colours are changing all the time and it seems really intelligent and full of personality. Very interesting fish!
