HELP damsel digging in sand!!!
 
my yellowtail damsel keeps on digging in my sand! the tank is always gettign cloudy from it, will it eventually stop getting cloudy? or will i hav to tear down my tank again and have to catch him, i wake up every mornign and its ine, but he digs durign the day, its really starting to P me off, if i put lie kanother inch or two of heavier grained sand will it sink faster???

Damsels and clownfish do that. It is their behaviour. No real way to stop it.

yeah my clowns do that too. I had to place a rock on the two spots they were doing it. I will wait until they start do it again and place another rock.

hmm i dont have extra rock to throw around, its in 3 spots, 2 mainly, one is where he digs the most, i mgiht just got dig down to the glass for him, hopefully hell stop

you can do that but keep in ind that it is not bad for this to happen. It is natural behavior. I had to stopp it because they were affecting how the rock base was resting. other than that I would have let them dig and dust.

yeh mine does that too.. I am trying to catch him and get him out of my tank.. All my rocks will eventually fall if he continues.. I have a large tank and I cannot afford that to happen. He is smart and wont com near the net, so while i get him used to the net, i just add rocks everywhere he digs.
