DIY Test tube holder
I made this because I was tired of balancing test tubes on my table and always knocking 1 over and spilling its contents. It was designed to hold 2 dif size tubes 1/2 in (aquarium pharmaceuticls) and 5/8 Red Sea tubes. The salifert tubes that I have are much larger and easy to balance. Only 15 min to make the board, took longer to stain and clearcoat.

I guess nobody likes my silly just for the Heck of it holder
OH well------LOL |
I dig it, in fact I'm going to make one myself:thumbsup:

Haha! You stained it and everything. Very professional :)
|
LOL, COOL thanks.
Yea I dont know why I stained it I guess I could not just leave it bare. And if you are going to stain it why not clear coat it as well. |
That is awesome. I might just have to make one.

Great yet simple idea. I have the same problem. I am going to make one of those.
|
Yea was one of those times when you say why the heck did I not think of that sooner. It was kind of like a DUH moment for me. LOL
|
I like it.
I always wanted to make one that vibrates or oscillates for titrating tests. Then you don't have to swirl while dripping, you could just drip it in and it would mix itself. |

Thats a cool idea, I hope you build it. That would be interesting to see if it can be done inexpensively. I have seen those on a larger beeker type scale but not for test tubes. Maybe a small medical type centerfuge thinggyy. LOL |
That is cool! I always used a piece of egg crate! Are you picturing it? How getto right?
