Do you have any Nerite snails? Looks like Nerite eggs, but could also be Spirorbid Worms - hard to tell from the pics.

After more investigation I think they are spirorbids.
So what is next step with a reef tank, with inverts, and all peaceful fish ... How to keep them.from taking over... Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk |
Spirorbids are harmless filter feeders, so no problem. I had tons in my tank when it was new, but I doubt they'll take over. Should be cool to let them go with no action on your part.

You do nothing...
Except accept that as totally normal and NOT something you need to do anything about.. They are harmless/beneficial filter feeders.. I think all newbies should be forced to read this and have a test on it.. https://www.lionfishlair.com/hitchhikers-guide/ 90% of the stuff you find in a tank is harmless and likely beneficial.. Very few things need action taken against them.. and.. In the future when asking for identification help please turn the blue channel of your lights off or way down.. Proper color rendition is important for identification plus it can help the camera focus better.. |
