Wow !!!! Those colonies are Huge ! Awesome of course !
|
DEar Tyler !
My congratulations for your beatiful tank ! can you give us more information abt the feedings ? also where you purchase the Bubbleking skimmer ? I want to buy/order one for my reef system. Again exceptional reef tank. Regards Fernando Chang Panama |
I feed too much. I feed live clams, live bloodworms, mysis shrimp, spectrum pellets, frozen spirulina algae, algae sheets, and frozen angel formula with sponge. Most of these I alternate, but i feed mysis twice daily.
|
I think I got the bubbleking skimmer from PA, but I'm not sure it was a long time ago.
|
Fantastic tank! Congratulations.
|
Hi Tylor !
thanks for yr reply that is a lot of feeding you have to yr reef and this is why you have a good skimmer working. I am trying to purchase the bubbleking skimmer but it is very difficult to find from my country. thanks anyway yr kind reply. congratulations once more !! Regards Fernando Chang Panama |
Truly well deserved.
Tylor. Congratulation. |
Beautiful!!!
|
Great tank, how come it looks like there are pictures from two different stages. in one set there is a large monti cap in the bottom center and in another it isnt there?
|
I was trying to free up the middle a bit where most of the current goes and moved the large green cap. Originally my design is two islands with the current going in circles around each island. A lot of flow is designed to go between the islands. Apparently the coral like this as they've grown in the middle, to the point where flow is more limited. I'm actually going to weed out more coral tomorrow, try and further improve flow.
|
Tylor,
Congrats and your tank is amazing. Finish getting all those clam shells out this afternoon? ;) Best, Dave |
Congrats - nice tank & write up!
|
Dave, yes, got them all. Then created a couple more as i fed the CBB.

Hi Tylor !
Again from Panama, can you tell me the light schedule for each type ? Regards Fernando Chang |
Congrats on the TOTM. Tank is truly stunning. May I ask how on earth you were able to get a moorish idol to live?
|
Hi Tylor,
You have an extraordinary reef aquarium!!! Has your moorish idol ever bothered your coral? Mike |
this tank is crazy beautiful. the fish list is amazing, how long have you had the moorish idol and what do you feed it. then the corals they are huge and beautiful. great job and keep up the great work

Congrats nice tank,
But no pictures of the sump or equipment :( |

Great looking tank! It's almost the same measurements of the upgrade I am currently planning.
Is there anything that you would've done differently with this one if you could get a "do-over"? Thanks, Chad |
Very nice tank. I was thinking the same thing, Where are the photos of the equipment. Love to see the powerhouse!!
