No lens filters needed. In today's photography we do not depend on UV filters and things such as this any more. However, although they do not help for anything to alter the picture, they actually do serve a valuable purpose. If you drop your camera/lens and lands on the UV filter, it is typically the only thing that will break. So, you lose out on $20-$30 but save a $200+ lens.
The filters that are still used are ND filters and polorizers and a few others but UV's are not needed at all except for what I mentioned. |
