Saw this guy in my pink lemonade colony a few minutes ago. Came out during feeding. I have had the colony for a while. Everything in the tank appears to be fine. Any ideas if this is a bad one? Claws are black tip

Not only good but Preferred and AWESOME.

they eat debris and dead tissue off Acros to keep them very healthy.

They are a welcomed guest to Acros hosting them.

Some people buy Acros crabs to put in each Acros colony they own. 99% of crab owners say the acros hosting a crab is the best looking Acros in the tank......and acros with NO crab looks like pooooo

I would say that about 3 out of every 4 wild or macro cultured acro colonies I have bought have a resident commensal crab. It's one of the many cool things about keeping a reef tank. Certainly they do no damage. I see no compelling evidence that colonies with are necessarily healthier than those without however. Apparently I'm the 1%
