Convict Tang Discoloration

1 Attachment(s)
Any idea why my new Convict tang is showing this much discoloration and seems stressed. He’s been in the quarantine tank since I got him for over 2 weeks. It is being treated with copper and just finished final treatment of Marycn Two. 2 other fish in the same tank purchased at the same time seem fine.

Thanks

I think is infested with flukes. Use prazi-pro.

To confirm give him a fresh water dip. If translucid stuff falls of is defiantly flukes.

Btw how did you get the fish to swim head down?

That's a pretty quick diagnosis without much info or better pics, don't you think? Not saying you're right or wrong, but I don't think its wise to just throw out diagnoses and treatments without more info.

To the OP, I'd say to try and get some better photos. Is it only coloration you're concerned with or are there other symptoms?

Sir with all due respect, I have been doing salt for 25 years. I mentioned a fresh water dip for confirmation.

In my opinion ALL new fish shoul have a treatment of de-wormer. Flukes are a type of worms.
