I've had three tunze pumps ranging from 10 to 14 years. My youngest, 10 years, has run nonstop with irregular cleaning. The two older ones get started every once in a while to mix up saltwater and waiting for me to get my big project up and running when i settle down with work, but still ran continuously for 5-7 years with no failures or breakage prior to dry dock. They have been the most stable pieces of equipment I have ever used in my tanks bar none.
