While waiting for paint to dry I have been purchasing all the goodies that will help me finish this project, I picked up a GFCI outlet and water proof cover for behind the tank.
I also picked up a 29G tank for my sump, gotta love PETCO dollar per gallon sales.
I had glass cut for the baffles and began to put it all together, I used CD covers to space out the bubble trap allowing me to silicone them with ease...
Once the baffles were done I painted the sides, back and bottom of the sump, I used Krylon Fusion Black...
Once painted it became hard to photograph.. :-(
While I was at it I also painted the back of my tank...For this one I rolled the paint on I guess I wanted to try it both ways!
It took us about a week to finish 5 coats of gloss black but it's finally done, I still need to make doors but at least I can take it home and begin the tank install and pluming.
