Do you want black on black on black or are you going to keep the white sand? That BBB looks awesome, especially in a freshwater tank, but if you want to keep the white sand I would probably siphon out the top 1/4" or so and set this aside. Clean the rest with the garden hose and then put the live sand on top of that. The whole process of moving things from one place to another is actually a piece of cake. Just plan it out, take your time etc. GL.
