Ah...you have two of my favorite reef fishes! The Achiles Tang and the elegant Mandarin. Neither of which I can keep in my tank....
I dont have the time/space/effort required to keep a large tank. Maybe one day though...

I also keep bare bottom tank. I find nutrient management easier this way. But my god it does look ugly compared to sand...
Do you scrap the bottom or you leave it to grow Coralline algaes?
