Yeah the mandarine is soooooo happy and fat!Really fat!
Lol...it sure is ugly but makes nutrient control sooo easy(like you said).
After the change i put some crushed coral inside.
Those two years that it was bare bottom i didn' scrape the tank.
I was to lazy to do it...although it would make it look prettier
If the bottom of the tank was black maybe i'd scrape it.

And it's relatively cheap.
