I would assume the sun is going to take care of the growth aspect of the lighting correct? All you should need is supplemental to make everything look nice and pretty. Still, that would be a daunting task because you don't want to cover the entire surface. I think most public aquariums use spot halides. Can you tell i'm speaking way beyond my comfort level
