Bumpin' this... has anyone but Bill done it yet?
I'm getting fed up with the Durso, and want to try a new one...
Bill, tell me why this wouldn't flood? Doesn't look like it could. At least with my durso, I have it lower than the water level. If it ever filled up too high, the water covers the hole and creates a siphon that sucks it right out. I have an acrylic cover on top, so no critters can get in to clog it.
However, it's still a little loud, I think, and I do need to fix my drainage line, (it's a flexible tube type) because it runs parallel, and even rises maybe a half inch at the exit to the sump. It creates that stupid flushing effect, and it bugs the crap out of me.
