Yes, Monroe County uses chlorine. I checked before I set up the tank. Although this is my first reef, I have probably had about 20 tanks over my life, even one fish only salt. I knew to check that. We are lucky! My pond fish do great and even breed with completely untreated water from the hose, although we do have a UV filter for them to keep the water clear.
