Justplainfishy, I HAVE AN 1850 and i added a altia 40. Found that even with the bleed off fully open had too much turbulence in the neck. I really didn't give it too much time though so i will play with it some more. I also thought about adding more holes in the bubble plate and i did add a elbow pointing down on the input of the skimmer. Seems to have reduced the turbulence a bit. Also Spazz had sent two additional venturi to change skimmer performance. Will post any changes, good or bad as I progress, Neil
