I know that many of the commercial aquariums are involved with captive raising of young sea turtles to return them to the wild when the reach a certain size.

I believe that the eggs are collected shortly after being laid in an effort to save the eggs from predation and increase the numbers of surviving young.

It would be cool to have a large tank and be part of that effort....but that isn't likely to happen.
