The shimmer looks just as nice as any other typical setup I've looked at. The only other led source with much better shimmer would be the kessil. Also, I wouldn't say that the corals glow under these lights. It reminds me of a typical 10k setup where the corals look a little washed out. You could easily supplement with some actinic lighting, but as far as growth is concerned, I have been happy so far.
