I think the Solana is the best bang for the buck overall.. I've seen it advertised for $375 (tank only, no light).. and lets compare that to a cube tank.. the closest thing I've seen in terms of a cube tank will run you about $150-200 for the tank alone. Then, you'll need a skimmer (any skimmer, even the awful SeaClone will run you $100 or so.. and up.. but the skimmer that's the closest to the one in the Solana is a Bak Pak skimmer.. which are about $140-175. Then, you'll need an ATO (cheapest I've seen is about $80 for the controller only, you still need the others).. So right there, you're way higher than the Solana tank.. and you still get the return pump, built in overflow.. so many others. Of course, you could buy a 29 gallon tank for cheaper, but it's not the same.. I think the Solana is the BEST, by far.
