I know you guys were just thankfull to salvage what you could, but this demands looking into. I too have witnessed white lines of necrosis eating particular morphs of my LPS. Ive lost most colonies once that takes place namely echinophyllia frags, but thank God it has been few and far between, 4 months ago it was 2 Leptastrea colonies, and 2 blasto colonies. Which was no iffy new comer, these both had been establish and encrusting for years, even the blasto wellsi!! Heavy Mg doses, and waterchanges paired by filter and media changes helped me save 1 lep and 1 blasto colony. Hence my suspicion of the aggressive regiment warranted by medicating with RB meds..
