You will need a pick type tool or very small needlenose, the pick is preferred, a paperclip will not have enough rigidity. The disk is on there pretty firmly and it takes a bit of effort to pull the old one out and I hesitate to recommend needlenose as if you grab the shaft and pull it out the pump is ruined, the pick makes that mistake impossible. You can generally get a pack of 4 different picks at Lowes or Sears for $7-$10. This is not a super common spare part, a tunze.com order comes directly to me and is shipped from the US, I can't recall any dealers who stock this part.
