I have to disagree with the traditional tank you posted as modern. The tank is clearly traditional in aesthetic.
Your tank is looking like it is on the path to modern, something to think about is the space around your tank as well.. For example, you should think about spray painting those reefcrystal salt buckets silver... jk.
