Replaced the bulkheads, added 2 clowns and watched my ammonia, nitrate, and nitrates. All read zero, specially after I added Chaeto to the sump. of course for Christmas I received several fish as Christmas gifts from my family.

I’m finding it hard not to over feed, I always feel like I feed to much. All fish are healthy and eating. My wife bought a coral beauty, and I had a few emerald crabs in my tank. The coral beauty continued to go up to the crabs for a cleaning, one day they ripped off half of his front fin [emoji52]. Bought a cleaner shrimp the next day, he seems to hang around the shrimp more now.

I did have a break out of algae, I used a plastic brush and Turkey Baster to clean 90% of the rock. Lot of work. I didn’t have any filter socks in my sump. But after scraping off the algae my skimmer went nuts. I learned my lesson, I now have a large filter sock at the beginning of my sump.

Here’s how’s it’s looking now

I do have some purple spots smaller than a BB growing on my rock, I hope it’s healthy
