Anyhow, I'm starting to think that the Atman 1100 on the SC 65 and Atman 2000 on the SC 150 are new higher wattage pumps.

If my Atman 1100 uses 28 watts when the older replacement pump http://socaltropicalfishoutlet.com/c...2ptmc0st0td9h1 uses 8 watts, Then I would like to see what the new Atman 2000 on the SC 150 uses, considering that the old one http://socaltropicalfishoutlet.com/c...2ptmc0st0td9h1 uses 11 watts.

*Edit According to the item description on ebay, the SC 150's Atman 2000 uses 41 watts!
I'm wondering something very similar. Through my own fault, I burnt up the PH-1100 pump on my NAC3+. I'm looking for a replacement, but also noticed the 8W and small GPH rating on SoCaltropical's website. I'd HATE to spend the 40 bucks, get it, and have it be some inferior model that will not work in my skimmer. Or maybe I'd purchase a larger model that will be too strong for my skimmer, or maybe, not even fit underneath it? Maybe SoCal's website is a misprint? Which one do you guys think I should get? I'm still not happy about spending 40+ on a pump for a, now dated, skimmer that has a newer version available for 75 bucks brand new.
