While I own a BRS unit, After reading these forums and seeing responses by buckeyehydro in EVERY ro/di thread, my vote would most definitely be them.

And in Rochester, I wouldn't be surprised if they used chloramines. Even if they are currently not using it, they probably do at some point in the year to flush out the pipes. Before buying anything, I would be finding this out first. A quick call to the local water authority, or a water quality report should be able to tell you.
