This might be a little goofy looking....but it will work.
You need two ladders, one on each side of the tank. Use a pole (broom handle?) or a piece of PVC to stretch across the top of the tank sitting on the top of the ladder. Zip tie or use some wire to hang the lights on the pole above the tank. Get some mesh netting from your local fish store and lay it over the top of the tank and tape it around the edges to hold it in place.......take a picture and post it here......you will win "Hillbilly" Tank of the month! lol
