That date is a typo, it should say 8/06. So that tank is a year and a half old now.

I don't add anything to my tank.
I just do 20% water changes every 2 weeks.
I have done just water changes to my tanks since the mid 90's.
I use to add chemicals and additives, but stopped for a while and didn't see any change in the corals ( soft corals ). But I did see a change for the better when I started doing good sized water changes on a consistant basis.

So water change, suck out the detritus in the sump and clean the skimmer every two weeks.
