No stupid questions right? but I can't wrap my head around this: its my first sump - skimmer, bubble trap, fuge, and return. Kinda like melev's here. But I can't figure where to put the ato. Its a double switch sump mount one from autotopoff.com here . Do I put it in front of the bubble trap? The fuge or the return?

At first I thought in front of the bubble trap, but I think the water level there would stay more constant.
