Thank you so much. I think I'll finally choose the 650 model. I prefer, as you say, run the skimmer on or not at my own pov, than be anxious about it.
It's a really huge skimmer, but my plans are to dose phytoplankton and other coral foods almost daily, but not suffer from high nutrients in the water.
