A couple of weeks ago I bought an Aqueon 75 at Petcos' sale and intend to drill the backside. Now I'm scared.
Looked at the tank. The bottom panel has engraving indicating the glass is tempered, the side panels do not. But the there is a sticker on the bottom pane which, among other cautions, says do not drill the "aquarium enclosure". Now, I'm not sure if all the panes are tempered even though the bottom is the only one that says so.
I specifically bought this, and not their reef ready, with the intent to drill it to save space on the overflow. Their website also says only the bottom pane is tempered.
Guess I'll find out.
