Interesting idea, bubble algae to keep aiptasia at bay.... Might work.

Woke up this morning to my yellow eye kole dead. I think for now, least until May 1(fallow period over) I'm going to skip trying to buy any fish. Only fish I have left now is my female leopard in the same QT everything else is dying in, and green mandy I did not remove from the tank.

FWIW, my mandy is super fat. I have so many pods now with no wrasse in my tank I have what looks like fleas all over everything. I also have some very large amphipods that I see at night that are almost the size of my pinkie finger! My leopard would be having a field day right now.

I've also noticed a much nicer looking tank since removing my filter socks. Yes there is a bit more particulate in the water(mostly shed exoskeletons of amphipods and copopods), but all my corals and feather dusters are much happier with a little more particulate in the water. Water is still crystal clear as I run carbon 24/7.
