Interesting, thanks for the link. I'm hoping that was an isolated incident and going to give it a shot and see how it goes. Did you have any penductors on the end of your closed loop? If it does cause me issues I could re-plumb the intakes into drains on this tank and could just run it submerged from the sump. The extra heat input would likely be welcome anyways. I had planned to do that depending on how much heater I ended up needing anyways.
