Not sure that last post answered the question....
I was running a 12 hour cycle on mine, but started get some algae issues. LFS says 8, but if I go that low, my Zoas start reaching for the stars, and they are at the very top of my tank. Currently I am about 10- the whites for 8 and blues and sunrise/set lamps flushing out the other 2.
